Happy New Year!

Bundles of thanks to so many wonderful artsyletters patrons for making 2018 the best year ever. Join me for creative adventuring in 2019!

For the month of January, my Etsy shop will be open 24/7, but my shop hours in downtown Beaufort will be limited to appointments only. (You should see the organizing I need to do! ;0) ) I have regular freelance writing and art deadlines this month, as well as travel plans to see family and friends, so my actual studio will be doing a wee bit of hibernating.

In February, I’ll be open for First Friday and across all channels in time for Valentine’s gifting! Hmmm…. now what would your Literary Loves love the most? I’m restocking and creating new, fun items for you to choose from!

(Special Guest Kim Poovey will be signing copies of DICKENS’ MICE, the cover of which was illustrated by yours truly.)

Upcycled Ornament Workshop – Join Us!

It might still feel like summer, but technically, it’s fall – and the holidays will be here before we know it! Kick the season off with a fun afternoon playing with vintage finds and creating with new friends. Folks from my spring mixed media workshop at Coastal Art Supply (click here for their contact info) asked for more, so I’m offering an Upcycled Holiday Ornament Workshop on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

All materials provided, including vintage postage stamps, antique ribbon, vintage text, vintage brass file cabinet label holders, vintage beads and charms, and vintage clock chain! Participants will learn collage tips and how to work with jump rings.

JULY GREETINGS, Continued…

While I will actually be closed this week (July 19-20) because our kids are visiting, I’m delighted to share that you can now find some artsyletters offerings at the BEAUTIFUL Beaufort Emporium & Dry Goods Company on Bay Street!

Check out my table on the left after you walk in, and be sure to peruse the variety of gifts, souvenirs, and special treasures all around. Friendly folks and classy gifts!

Happy JUNE! We are getting ready for FIRST FRIDAY AFTER 5, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. downtown on June 1. Come on up for a howdy, and maybe a gift for letter-loving grads or literary gents for Father’s Day! :0) Look for my little A-Frame sign on the 800 block of Bay Street.

The rest of the month we will be either gallivanting around soaking up literary inspirations on vacation, or I’ll be tucked behind the door madly making, making making. We’ll be back with bells on in July. My Etsy shop will be on holiday from June 7-24.
