Greetings! My physical shop will stay closed for a short while more, as we all get vaccinated. If you’re in Beaufort and attending First Friday this eve, enjoy and please stay safe. :0) My Etsy shop is open 24/7. Featuring new items for Spring soon!
Greetings, Friends! It’s almost Valentine’s Day… I’m busy in the studio conjuring up gifts for the letter-lovers in your life. (Or for yourself!) We can use as much love as we can get these days, right?
Scroll down below this post for the most recent additions.
My physical shop remains closed to the public (except by appointment) until we’re a bit further along the pandemic road, but my Etsy Shop is open 24/7. I’ll be posting lots of heart/love-themed items on Instagram for the next month; feel free to follow along here. And, Thank You! (I DO love my customers and supporters!)
First up: These fun, funky chokers made from 1950s and 1980s ingredients – for those with “questionable” taste, perhaps? :0)
To our Beaufort Friends: My teeny wee shop will not be open this evening for First Friday, but I’m happy to arrange local pickup for anything ordered online through my Etsy shop in the next couple of weeks. If you head downtown tonight, enjoy – and be sure to wear your mask and socially distance! :0) Thanks to The Beaufort Emporium and Thibault Gallery for providing my holiday cards for folks to sign for some of our local military members who are currently deployed. Just write a note, and I’ll do the rest to get them into the hands of service members. Take good care!
Greetings, Friends. I’ve had a few open studio afternoons this month, but for the time being with an eye on virus numbers, will keep hours by appointment only: My shop is *tiny* and hard to socially distance in. I’m more than happy to arrange pickup for any items ordered from my Etsy shop http://etsy.com/shop/artsyletters.
It’s open 24-7. (We will decide about December’s First Friday that week. Night on the Town is not happening in Beaufort, but lots of shops WILL be open for First Friday.) Thanks!
Greetings, Art Lovers! TWO Things:
1.) Last week, I was delighted to be a guest presenter for young creatives at Camp Conroy, sponsored by the Pat Conroy Literary Center. It was my first time doing a craft workshop VIRTUALLY. We made found poem collages, like the sample I’m holding above. If you need a fun literary art project this summer, feel free to click the link under the picture and you can enjoy a mini tour of my studio, and the lesson I made for the campers, start to finish! :0)
2.) My Etsy shop will closed for a little summer break June 26 – July 2. If you send me a message through Etsy, I’ll try to respond in a timely-ish manner! (My physical studio is still closed for the time being.)
Here’s to good books, good poems, and soul-nourishing art. Stay safe and well, and see you soon!
**OPEN STUDIO HOURS UPDATE**
(March 17, 2020) — Out of an abundance of caution, my physical shop/studio will be open by special appointment only for the time being. I’m married to a health care professional and don’t want to jeopardize care for his patients, or your health, or mine! We’re all in this together. My Etsy shop is open 24/7, and I’m always happy to mail items anywhere. Thank you!! –Robyn
**Thursday, MARCH 5 UPDATE** – And I thought yesterday’s weather was challenging! Storms are on tap all day today, so I will need to dart back and forth to tend to a nervous wee beastie doggie. I’d like to keep my sidewalk sign in one piece, so I’m just going to use today to get ready for First Friday. See you tomorrow eve!!
Good Morning! I LOVE working in a historic building, but I need to upgrade the heating options in my small space. Looks like wind chills will stay in the 30s today, so even if my sandwich board sign on the sidewalk were to stay up, it’s going to be awfully chilly all day. I’ll be darting in and out but not keeping regular hours. Please email or text or call if you need me – Thanks!!
NOTE for next week – For Feb. 26, my shop will be open as usual on Wednesday, 12 noon to 4:30 p.m, but I will be traveling on Thursday and Friday for an author/poet school visit.
