Bonjour! What time is it in France? These fun earrings feature an image copied from an antique page in my collection which has clock faces representing the time differences between 12 o’clock in Washington D. C., and various cities around the world (A. J. Johnson). “Air-line” distances to Washington appear in their centers. This diagram was published in an atlas in the 1860s – before there were standardized time zones!
The pale green Paris clock image shines under glass cabochons in antiqued brass lace-edged settings, with dark vintage clock hands dangling beneath.
Happy Spring! April is bursting with blooms and fun. For one thing, it’s National Poetry Month! And, it’s Solar Eclipse Time! Feel free to peruse a few new French-themed items in my shop (April in Paris & all), as well as a new bookmark with a celestial theme.
And, all month long, use Coupon Code POETRYMONTH24 for 10 percent off in my Etsy shop. Bon Printemps!
Many thanks to all who have supported artsyletters over the years! Looking forward to another busy holiday season. I’ll be posting new items in these next few weeks; perhaps they’ll be bound for stockings or family gatherings. I’m beyond grateful to be able to create for a living. Wishing you and yours a lovely November!
Greetings! I’ve been out of touch but busy, what with moving across the state and all. My new studio is slowly coming together, and I do love it. I will share a proper tour and pictures soon. In the meantime, here are a couple of clean-slate/new space/before-I-moved-in pics, and several pics of some fast-filling nooks, crannies, and curiosities. Enjoy!
What am I NOT showing you? Um, the remaining boxes and all the little pieces-parts that I’m still walking around and organizing. It seems I’ve accumulated quite the collection of vintage and art supply ‘treasures’ in the past ten years…. (Insert shoulder shrug emoji here.)
More soon! :0)
Thanks for popping in!
